How To Measure

Please take when the dog is standing up facing forwards

with the tape measure snug around the body.

A) From the base of the neck straight down the spine to where the tail joins the body.

B) Neck.

C) All the way around the chest at the widest part

Instructions

  Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Identify the Parts of the Harness
  • Back Panel: The larger padded section with a D-ring for leash attachment.
  • Chest Strap: Adjustable strap that connects across the dog’s chest.
  • Side Buckles: Clips to secure the harness around your dog.
  • Front D-Ring: For optional leash attachment to reduce pulling.
  1. Adjust the Harness Before Fitting
  • Loosen the straps for easier fitting.
  • Hold the harness upright with the back panel facing upward and the chest panel facing forward.
  1. Put the Harness on Your Dog
  • Step 1: Guide your dog’s front legs through the openings, ensuring the chest panel sits on your dog’s chest.
  • Step 2: Pull the straps up around your dog’s body and clip the side buckles together.
  1. Adjust for a Snug Fit
  • Tighten or loosen the straps as needed. The harness should fit snugly but allow two fingers’ width of space between the harness and your dog’s body.
  • Ensure the back panel sits securely on your dog’s shoulders without sliding.
  1. Attach the Leash
  • Use the back D-ring for everyday walks.
  • Use the front D-ring for training or to reduce pulling behaviour. (If harness has them)
  1. Check Fit and Comfort
  • Double-check all buckles and straps are secure.
  • Make sure the harness doesn’t rub or chafe your dog’s skin.
